OK, I just sent in my application to become a professor at the Anime Academy.

My Sample Review was on GITS, the movie I bought that I saw last night.

Got a call from Nina a few minutes ago saying that because of her handbrace she can hardly move anything and everything's scattered. So, she calls me up and tells me that and she asks me if I can help her clean up and then maybe watch a movie *go to theatres?* and even though I had chores I said I could do it. So, tomorrow at noon, Nina'll come over here and pick up Gammy along with me to spend the night and help clean up. Hopefully I'll earn a few bucks. I'll be staying the night there from Saturday afternoon.

GOOD - I'll get to get outta the house FINALLY...

BAD - I'll miss Sunday Service and that play. Crap...

Oh well. the play was gonna be from 2:30-4:30 anyways...and plus I get The Window in the mail...So, yeah, hopefully I'll get a few bucks for doing chores.

Well...at least I get to get out the house tomorrow to help out Nina. ^_^
Almost forgot, NINA HAS THE ANIME NETWORK! SCORE!

It wasn't such a bad thing to be late this morning to school. I got there at 1PM and I got there just in time to get the quiz done and finished at 1:08PM. Damn lucky I wrote down a few notes! Anyway, gonna be busy this weekend. I plan to do my homework all day tomorrow and Saturday. Nothing much, just rewriting my notes. After school I went to Longs and bought a 40 pack of long envelopes! Now I won't have to fold the invoice a thousand times! Good. Also I got a pack of trail mix!

After that, I also went to the post office and sent in the money order for my Lupin Mamo DVD...finally! Yeah. Then I went home, but before that I stopped at the liquor store and got a 7.80 money order for my Batou poster and I'll send that out tomorrow, hopefully in the morning, but possibly in the afternoon.

Oh...the good thing about this Sunday is...I'M GOING TO CHURCH! I'm so happy I *finally* found a place to call my religious home. YAY FUUSD! Plus, at 2:30PM I'm gonna go see a student play at the UU Chapel. It's called "After". Hopefully I'll get that volunteering job at the UU bookstore. Plus, I also hope to get a Religious Education class at FUUSD as well.

Yesterday was kinda fun. I got to school early, cuz we were supposed to meet at the Saville Theatre for a presentation. So to kill time I looked around the paintings by Mexican artists (yeah this was for my Chicano Studies class). So, we all took our seats (out of order) and we were going to see an artist/post named Jimmy Santiago Baca. Past the intros, he comes on and he reads us this poetry…but he reads it so…so powerfully and with a grip of emotion. It was sooo sic! I loved it! So much that I bought 2 books. The thing I could relate to was when he talked about racism. That I could really relate to. But yeah, it was nice.

After that, I went down to JITB and got the usual. Then I went to the mall to reward myself and did some shopping. Here’s what I bought -

~ The Importance of a Piece of Paper
~ Working in the Dark - Reflections of a Poet of the Barrio
~ The newest (new to me) edition of Anime Insider (it’s monthly!)
~ The brand new Volume 7 Case Closed manga with a Richard Moore TCG Card inside!
~ 4 packs of Pop Rocks (2 Watermelon, 2 Strawberry)
~ 3 Sour Goos (Blueberry, Cherry, and Green Apple) ~
~ a new blue plastic thin supply pouch
~ transparent tape
~ Pro Clearz Brush-on Anti-fungal Liquid (YAY!!!!!)

Books were from school, first 4 were from SUNCOAST(!!), and last 3 were from Longs.

Now I’m desperately trying to save up to pay off all the things I owe offa Ebay….heh.

Today was pretty good. I was a few seconds late for class, but I didn't care. I was tired and outta breath. But I handed in my quiz after class and then as usual for being late hadta copy down a bunch of questions (I walked into group late). Ugh. Plus, I'll hafta rewrite my notes cuz I write sloppy when I'm hurried. Oh, we watched Amistad in class, not all of it, part of it. Damn, it was horrible. They were being whipped, smuggled into a tiny boat, there was suicides....damn. I was thinking of buying it, but I don't think I will...dunno. Oh, and my teacher commented on my short haircut "Lucy, I like your hair. It's cute!" So that made me happy. Thanks to my friends at FUUSD, I'm learning how, and acting, to be more...more talkative with other people. Something that I haven't done...for awhile now.

So yeah, I'll have ten bucks tomorrow, I'll get out 3 bucks and I'll make and send the MO for my Mamo DVD along with my PA DVD MO out in the mail after school. Yay! Then I'll have 5 bucks on Friday *studying at the mall* and I'll get ten bucks on Sunday *hopefully before church*. Well, 2 down...2 to go!

I plan to rewrite all my notes tonight since Mom unplugged my TV in my room *dammit*

Aww crap, I just remembered that our Chicano class will meet in the Seville/Saville Theatre to hear a Chicano artist speak. Then we hafta write a 1 page report on it, typed, double spaced...damn! OK, I dunno where it is but I hope to find it, and I hope there's seats! I hope I make it ON TIME tomorrow. I can't be late to THAT! ugh....
